Group Theory for Physicists in a Nutshell

In this semester, I join a seminar about group theory. And we will be based on the book Group Theory in a Nutshell for Physicists by A. Zee.

So I shall keep some notes, and then why not share it?

The notes will also concern the course which illustrate group theory in a vivid way.

Note that my notes are mostly based on the book and class (which means that maybe I just copy from the book).But mainly, let’s see what we could expect from the seminar.

Just as what A. Zee said in his book, which I highly approve with, group theory is close to pure poetry.

So let’s honor our inheritance —- elegant mathematics and profound physics.
